We at KJP SUPPORT SERVICES are committed to the health and safety of our staff, clients, families, and the wider community. We are closely monitoring the situation and are taking advice and making decisions based on updates from the following sources:
KJP SUPPORT SERVICES Response to COVID-19
KJP SUPPORT SERVICES has additional precautions in place in response to the continued spread of COVID-19. These include:
Maintaining a COVID-Safe plan
Complying with current recommendations around wearing of masks, social distancing, and density requirements
Staying up-to-date with advice from Federal and State Governments regarding hygiene and infection control (e.g. cleaning therapy materials)
Completing the COVID-19 Infection Control Training online course through the Department of Health
We have increased sanitization in our vehicles between clients.
We are fully vaccinated against COVID-19!
WHAT YOU CAN DO
The Department of Health advises people to practice good hygiene and social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes:
Washing your hands frequently and thoroughly (20 seconds) with soap and water
Covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow, and disposing of tissues properly
Refraining from touching your face as much as possible
Using alcohol-based hand sanitisers
Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
Maintaining a space of at least 1.5 metres between you and other people
Practising social distancing as much as possible
Staying home if you are unwell
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel any services due to COVID-19 related reasoning please contact us as soon as possible. Please cancel your appointment if anyone in your household is unwell or currently awaiting COVID-19 test results. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more details.
